For a limited time our 4R44E transmission is on sale. This four speed automatic can be found in the Ford Aerostar, Explorer, Ranger and Mazda B-series light weight trucks and vans. The 4R44E stood through the test of time, it was first introduced to the market in 1994 where is lasted all the way until 2009. Most distinguishable from its 18 bolt pattern on its pan and 2.47 first gear ratio. The 4R44E was derived from its predecessor A4LD and was Fords answer to some of the LD's shortcomings. During its time the 4R44E still had its share of problems. With this said our manufacturing team have found several performance enhancing upgrades that have also added longevity to this transmission. We are now including a stronger lockup torque converter with every unit for a limited time. We have extensively tested every unit to help ensure the 4R44E will perform with precision accuracy right out of the box.
