A 4L60E transmission is a redesign of its predecessor the THM700. Our 4L60E transmission is for sale with all the bells and whistles. This is not your everyday rebuilt 4L60E. Our XP1 series is a completely remanufactured OEM replacement transmission that we have upgraded to the max, solving GM’s most troublesome inerrant flaws. Every unit has been carefully built to the not only meet but surpass the manufactures most strict tolerances. Every XP1 4L60E will go through a meticulous Dyno and performance testing process to ensure out of the box perfection. These are only a few updates and upgrades we make to our 4L60E transmissions Complete system correction and recalibration kit installed to address several QE flaws. Modifications include updates to servos, the PR system, and valve body accumulators. Oversize PR valves utilized to restore hydraulic integrity TCC control valve, TCC regulator valve, and Actuator Feed Valve updated to address common wear problems 1-2 Accumulator Pistons, upgraded. to aluminum, replace the OE plastic pistons that can cause premature clutch failure. Trcr-Fat stator qualification and machining process.

Sun Shells updated to the latest, stronger, and more durable design, eliminating common 4L60E failures. High Energy 2-4 band installed to increase durability over the original 4L60E design. High Energy 3-4 clutch pack, upgraded from G to 7 clutches to increase durability and torque capacity. Completely remanufactured pump with new line bore bushings to eliminate leaks and provide superior flow and durability.

The fully remanufactured and improved 4L60E torque converter is tested for leaks, lock-up, concentricity, and balance Upgrades exceed OE requirements and eliminate the possibilities of front seal leaks, premature bushing wear, and vibration. All-new performance-spec bushings installed in key locations to improve internal fluid flow control and pressures. Complete road simulation testing using our very own dynamometer testing program called ADAPT Advanced Dyno And Performance Testing. Every 4L60E transmission is cold- and hot-tested while using our proprietary Synth-Teck automatic transmission fluid and filtration system.

How is the core deposit charged?

How is the core deposit charged? At the time of purchase the core deposit will be added to the customers total. Once the core is received and processed at our facility, the deposit will then be issued back to the customer.

How long do I have to return my core?

To receive a full deposit your core must be received within 30 days after the delivery of your part. Late fees may be assessed to cores that are returned beyond 30 days from the customers original purchase date. Any extensions must be proved by a sales manager.

Refund Time?

Orders are typically refunded back onto the credit card within 1-3 weeks after the core arrives. Check orders will be mailed back. Call to verify arrival if you have not been refunded within your 3 week window.

How do I return the core?

In most situations your unit will be delivered with a shipping form called the “Bill of Lading”. You or your shop can send the core back with the delivery driver or at a later date by calling the shipping company to schedule a pickup. Be sure to use our shipping form or the shipping company may bill you personally. If your form has been lost or misplaced you will have to call our shipping department to generate a replacement.

Bad or missing core?

If there is no core to exchange, in most cases we can just add the deposit amount to the purchase price. In addition, you will only be required to pay a one way shipping fee. In the case that our stock becomes low on a certain core, we may charge an increased amount for the core when there is not one to exchange. In the rare case a core becomes critically low we reserve the right not to sell a product without a core exchange.

Can I send my core first?

On manual transmissions, engines and transfer cases you can send us your core before we send out your unit. By doing this overall shipping may take longer but you will not be required to pay a core deposit just shipping and the price of your part.

  • This is a nation wide warranty that extends throughout the continental united states.
  • We do not charge restocking or shipping fees on qualified warranties. Restocking and shipping fees are only applied if a customer wants to return a non defective transmission or is outside the continental United States.
  • There are no mileage restrictions to your coverage.
  • Buyers warranty begins at original date of purchase and expires 3 years thereafter.
  • This warranty now covers all commercial vehicles.
We Cover Parts and Labor:
  • Labor will be paid in accordance with our standardized book time and rates.
  • Work may only be completed by a certified shop.
This warranty does not cover any of the following:
  • Use of engine, clutches, transfer case, drive line, and/or differential for purposes for which it was not originally designed (such as off-road, race car, etc).
  • Abuse, neglect, accident, or improper towing.
  • Improper installation and maintenance, including failure to fill the unit with proper fluid and maintain adequate levels.
  • Charges that may have incurred from towing or vehicle rental.
  • (Conversions) installation into a vehicle application that did not originally come with the transmission.
  • Loss of time, inconvenience, vehicle usage loss, commercial loss or consequential damages.
  • Failure because of defects or inefficiencies or parts or assemblies not furnished with the transmission (flywheel, clutch, drive shaft, etc).
